Gongo dev status report

This article is reporting what’s the current development status of Gongo adv. 1 – Knights of The Darkness.

Already implemented features:

Engine Level creation based on a single text file Done
UI Implemented basic UI elements: Button, Progress Bar, Text Field Done
AI Enemies are following the player, but they can’t jump and are dumb In Progress
Controls Player can move by using the keyboard. Implemented features are:- jump- walk In Progress
Engine Implemented layered background. Background can consist of three images. When moving player the background layers are moving with different speed. It adds more depth to the environment. In Progress
Engine Particles successfully tested. Done
Physics Everything except the environment is physically affected. Done
Engine Implemented a nice physic chain/rope mechanism. One end of the chain needs to be hooked to some point and other one can be as it is or there is a possibility to attach any game object to the chain, even player. Done
Multi-player Server Done
Multi-player Client Done
Multi-player Client-Server Messaging system Done
