This article is reporting what’s the current development status of Gongo adv. 1 – Knights of The Darkness.
Already implemented features:
|Engine||Level creation based on a single text file||Done|
|UI||Implemented basic UI elements: Button, Progress Bar, Text Field||Done|
|AI||Enemies are following the player, but they can’t jump and are dumb||In Progress|
|Controls||Player can move by using the keyboard. Implemented features are:- jump- walk||In Progress|
|Engine||Implemented layered background. Background can consist of three images. When moving player the background layers are moving with different speed. It adds more depth to the environment.||In Progress|
|Engine||Particles successfully tested.||Done|
|Physics||Everything except the environment is physically affected.||Done|
|Engine||Implemented a nice physic chain/rope mechanism. One end of the chain needs to be hooked to some point and other one can be as it is or there is a possibility to attach any game object to the chain, even player.||Done|
